Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking Senior Estimator/Estimator candidates for a nationwide leading electrical contractor in New Jersey. The role focuses on taking ownership of major pursuits, pricing, planning and delivering complex projects in utility, substation, T&D, and large commercial sectors.

Ideal candidates have contractor-side electrical estimating experience and can lead significant bids, advise on bid strategy, and work closely with operations and field teams.

Qualifications

• Electrical construction estimating experience on the contractor side.
• Background in utility, substation, T&D or high-voltage work or complex commercial electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of labor, materials, procurement and field execution.
• Ability to spot scope gaps, challenge assumptions and take ownership of an estimate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own major bids for complex electrical projects.
• Price, plan and build projects in collaboration with operations teams.
• Mentor and advise on bid strategy for senior estimators.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve profitability of pursuits.
