Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking Electrical Estimators and Senior Estimators for projects in New Jersey and Connecticut. You will develop electrical estimates for utility, substation and commercial/missional‑critical work, from bid review to final submission, taking ownership of major pursuits and collaborating with operations.

This role offers leadership opportunities, the chance to mentor others, and involvement in pricing strategies for high‑value projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical construction estimating experience on the contractor side.
• Background in utility, substation, T&D or high-voltage work, or complex commercial electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of labor, materials, procurement and field execution.
• Ability to spot scope gaps, challenge assumptions and take ownership of an estimate.
• For Senior Estimators, experience independently leading significant bids and advising on bid strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical estimates from bid review through final submission.
• Complete takeoffs, labor planning and material pricing.
• Review scopes, vendor quotes, subcontractor proposals and project risks.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and help shape competitive bids.
• Partner with project and field teams to ensure a strong handoff.
• At senior level, lead major pursuits and mentor other estimators.
