Job summary

On Point Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Estimator in New Jersey to lead electrical project estimating from take-off through hand-off to Project Management. The role demands strong technical estimating skill, financial acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical estimating experience, proficiency with AccuBid or similar software, and the capacity to identify new business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in construction management or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work within the United States.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Estimate electrical projects from take-off to hand-off to Project Managers.
• Review and negotiate subcontractor bids.
• Bid development, preparation, and execution.
• Prepare job budgets and scope of work.
• Establish relationships with vendors and clients.
• Interact with GCs and government contacts.
• Lead pre-bid site visits and job meetings.
