Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking Senior Estimator/Estimator candidates for a nationwide leading electrical contractor in New Jersey. The role focuses on taking ownership of major pursuits, pricing, planning and delivering complex projects in utility, substation, T&D, and large commercial sectors.

Ideal candidates have contractor-side electrical estimating experience and can lead significant bids, advise on bid strategy, and work closely with operations and field teams.

Qualifications

• Electrical construction estimating experience on the contractor side.
• Background in utility, substation, T&D or high-voltage work or complex commercial electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of labor, materials, procurement and field execution.
• Ability to spot scope gaps, challenge assumptions and take ownership of an estimate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own major bids for complex electrical projects.
• Price, plan and build projects in collaboration with operations teams.
• Mentor and advise on bid strategy for senior estimators.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve profitability of pursuits.

Senior Estimator & Estimator: $150K-$200K Salary + Benefits Package

An established nationwide leading electrical contractor is looking for experienced estimators to help win and deliver complex utility, substation and commercial / mission-critical electrical projects.

This is an opportunity to take real ownership of major pursuits, work closely with operations and influence how projects are priced, planned and built.

What we're looking for:

• Electrical construction estimating experience on the contractor side
• A background in utility, substation, T&D or high-voltage work, or complex commercial electrical construction
• Strong knowledge of labor, materials, procurement and field execution
• The ability to spot scope gaps, challenge assumptions and take ownership of an estimateFor Senior Estimators, experience independently leading significant bids and advising on bid strategy

Commercial electrical estimators are encouraged to apply. Utility experience is not required if you have a strong background pricing complex electrical projects such as data centers, industrial facilities, healthcare or large commercial builds.
