Job summary

Hunt Electric seeks an experienced Electrical Designer to deliver precise electrical design for commercial projects from our Eagan, MN headquarters. You will produce drawings and reports, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with NEC and internal standards.

You will mentor junior staff, engage with clients as needed, and contribute to project delivery from kickoff to closeout in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical design experience.
• Ability to design with NEC and local codes and Hunt standards.
• Hybrid work arrangement based in Eagan, MN.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical drawings and engineering reports within schedule and scope.
• Coordinate designs and drawings under supervision; may lead smaller projects.
• Prepare arc flash, coordination, voltage drop, and short-circuit studies with supervision.
• Collaborate with project management, estimating, and field teams through all project phases.
• Provide technical guidance and quality assurance on drawings and designs.
