Job summary

WSP USA in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for transportation sector projects. You will oversee multi-discipline teams and coordinate with clients, regulators, and project managers.

The role requires 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, a professional license, and proven ability to deliver complex substations, MV/LV systems, and protection schemes within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Engineer license required.
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and program/construction management.

Responsibilities

• May direct segments of a major project, and participate in the application of engineering concepts and techniques.
• Analyzes complex problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures.
• Monitors project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget.
• May serve as a PM on some Projects.
• Perform design tasks requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design or engineering techniques and procedures.
