Henderson Engineers seeks a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team serving key clients from its Bentonville office. You will drive technical excellence, resource planning, and project delivery while mentoring engineers across the sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural) preferred; HS diploma acceptable.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant progressive experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role.

Responsibilities

• Leads coaching culture across a team of technical staff through goal setting and alignment with organizational goals.
• Builds strong leadership teams and supports engagement across multiple levels within a sector.
• Oversees performance management processes for their staff, sets expectations for Engineering Managers, monitors sector-wide performance trends and adjusts plans with business workload.
• Proactively collaborates with sector leadership on business planning, team capacity, forecasted needs and cross-sector alignment to ensure an effective staffing strategy.
• Cultivates psychological safety and inclusion and leads through trust and high-impact relationships.
• Ensures discipline-specific communication reaches the sector and translates strategy into clear expectations for Engineering Managers and their teams.
• Acts as a career coach, providing performance feedback and guidance on skills progression and career development, particularly for engineers advancing to more senior roles.
• Manages employee performance and operational needs as necessary including performance evaluations, technical employee development, discipline, timesheets, etc.
