Job summary

Delta ModTech is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and elevate our electrical engineering team in a full-time, on-site capacity. You will drive robust electrical design, controls architecture, and safety compliance while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

You will mentor engineers, build core capabilities, and partner with operations and service teams to improve machine reliability and lifecycle support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in electrical engineering/industrial automation, preferably in custom machinery.
• 7+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Strong background in electrical schematics, control panels, PLC/HMI programming, motion control, and machine safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of robust electrical design and controls programming for custom machinery.
• Improve electrical architecture, standards, and reusable hardware/software solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and design reviews for high-risk projects.
• Drive PLC, HMI, motion control, networking, machine vision, and safety applications.
• Ensure electrical deliverables are complete and released on time.
