Delta ModTech is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to transform customer requirements into production-ready designs for custom web converting, coating, and automation systems.

You will lead complex mechanical design efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and interface with customers to ensure design intent and project objectives are met. The role emphasizes ownership, problem solving, and servant leadership in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical design or automation design experience.
• 5+ years leading technical work, mentoring engineers, coordinating design teams, or owning major design packages.
• Highly skilled in 3D modeling with CAD software and producing machine layouts and detailed drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with coating, converting, web handling, packaging, or related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts from concept through implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and customers to refine project scope.
• Produce machine layouts, assembly drawings, BOMs and related documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and on-site integration and testing.
