Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the 100% on-site Test Equipment Engineering team. The role requires 5+ years of experience, and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance, with U.S. citizenship.

You will design and integrate test products across multidiscipline teams. Work includes developing engineering and production test systems, interfacing adapters, cabling, and schematics, with focus on cost, schedule, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years or an advanced STEM degree with 3+ years.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with electrical engineering design including troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Experience with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
• Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters.
• Experience using schematic capture and interpreting schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment Engineering.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.
• Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects.
• Act, either as part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.
