RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience for an onsite role. The position focuses on design, development, and integration of test equipment within the Test Equipment Engineering Directorate.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Onsite work in Tucson, with a broad benefits package and opportunities for leadership in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in STEM with 8+ years experience or Advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, and test.
• Experience with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
• Experience with test equipment: oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and use schematic capture tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integrate Raytheon products within TEE in multidiscipline engineering teams
• Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
• Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and manage technical, cost and schedule aspects
• Act, either as part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues in development and implementation of test products
