Qualus is seeking a Lead Engineer - Electrical in the Engineering department to deliver medium and low voltage electrical design solutions for substations, transformers, and P&C schemes across brownfield and greenfield EPC projects. You will develop equipment specs, review field data, and run system studies such as coordination, short circuit, and arc flash analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license required.
• 10+ years of design engineering experience on primary power distribution and P&C schemes.

Responsabilités

• Deliver medium and low voltage electrical design for outdoor and unit substations and related EPC projects.
• Develop equipment specifications and review field data.
• Coordinate with CAD staff to create/update drawings including one-lines and schematics.
• Perform coordination, short circuit, and arc-flash studies; review power monitoring data for customer recommendations.
• Support sales during customer site walks and lead cross-functional interactions.
• Plan resources and participate in project kickoff; ensure safety and proper invoicing documentation.
• Travel up to 30% for training and site visits.
