Job summary

DEPCOM Power is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) power plants. You will mentor team members, drive high-quality project designs, and own engineering standards across DC, MV, and HV design.

This role offers location flexibility among Bedminster, NJ, Scottsdale, AZ, or Houston, TX, and requires travel up to 25%. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, power infrastructure, and contract scoping will help you

Qualifications

• Applied knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Experience in power infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical resource for complex engineering challenges.
• Develop electrical drawing packages for PV and energy storage projects from Initial design through IFC.
• Champion technical excellence and improve engineering deliverables and processes.
• Review and author contract scopes of work to define deliverables and responsibilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, design standards and documentation practices.
• Travel up to 25% to job sites and office locations.
