Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) plants, with flexibility to be located at Bedminster, NJ, Scottsdale, AZ, or Houston, TX.

You will mentor engineers, develop drawing packages from initial design through IFC, and drive technical excellence while fostering process improvements and quality. Up to 25% travel required to sites and offices.

Qualifications

Applied knowledge of Electrical Codes and Standards.
Experience in Power Infrastructure Design.

Responsibilities

Serve as Technical Resource: act as escalation point for complex engineering challenges and first-principles analysis.
Develop Electrical Drawing Packages: create drawings for PV and Energy storage projects from Initial design through IFC.
Champion Technical Excellence: strengthen deliverables and drive solutions that raise the bar without delaying schedule.
Contract Scope of Work: review and define technical deliverables and project requirements.
Process Improvement: identify and implement repeatable processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Cost/Benefit Analyses: analyze installation architectures, grounding schemes, and major equipment.
Client and Stakeholder Interface: engage with clients to support design and delivery of power plants.
Travel: travel up to 25% to job sites and offices as required.
Culture Champion: model company values and pursue mutual solutions for project success.
