Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, test, and validate proximity sensors for our autonomous vehicle systems. You will lead end-to-end PCB design, from schematic to layout, and ensure seamless integration with vehicle subsystems.

The role emphasizes sensor development, power electronics, and EMI considerations, with opportunities to influence designs used in UAS and defense platforms.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years in board design.
• Strong circuit and mixed-signal design background.
• Experience with sensor design, build, test, and integration.
• Design experience in UAS, power electronics, converter or powertrain.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validation of proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles.
• Vehicle-level integrations and lifecycle design from concept through production.
• Full cycle PCB design from requirements through integration.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses.
• Support and collaborate across subsystems constraints.
• Vendor surveys to support sourcing for components.
• Conduct peer reviews across disciplines.
• Build and test engine system components in lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Root cause analysis for field operations.
