Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (Sensor Systems) to design and validate proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles, integrating them into complete vehicle platforms. You will drive PCB design through bring-up, test, and field integration while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes sensor development, power electronics, and MIL‑STD‑level qualification, with eligibility for a U.S.

Qualifications

BS/MS or higher in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of board design experience.
Strong background in circuit design and mixed-signal design.
Experience with sensor design, build, test, and integration.
Design experience in UAS, power electronics, converter design, or powertrain.
Familiar with CAN, I2C, SPI interfaces.
Experience with EMI testing.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and validation of proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles.
Vehicle-level integrations and complete lifecycle design from concept through production.
Full cycle PCB design including requirements, schematic, layout, bring-up, test, and integration.
Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harness connections.
Provide support and collaborate with other air vehicle subsystem developments.
Vendor surveys and component sourcing evaluation.
Conduct peer reviews across disciplines.
Build up and test engine system components through lab, ground, and flight tests.
Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
