Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design, test, and validate proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles. You will own vehicle-level integration and the full lifecycle of PCB design from concept through production, including system interconnects and wire harnesses.

You’ll collaborate with air-vehicle subsystems, perform vendor surveys, and lead cross-disciplinary design reviews.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
• Experience with sensor design, build, test, and integration.
• Design experience in UAS, power electronics, converter design, or powertrain.
• Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI and similar interfaces.
• Experience with EMI testing and test automation.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validation of proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles.
• Vehicle-level integrations and full lifecycle design from concept to production.
• Full cycle PCB design including requirements, schematic, layout, bring-up, test and integration.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harness definitions.
• Support and collaborate with other air vehicle subsystem development constraints.
• Vendor surveys and component sourcing for systems.
• Conduce peer reviews across disciplines.
• Build and test engine system components in lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
