Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design, test, and validate proximity sensors for our autonomous vehicles, guiding integration from concept through production. You will own full PCB design cycles, define interconnects, and collaborate across air-vehicle subsystems to meet stringent DoD-grade requirements.

The role requires a strong background in mixed-signal circuit design, sensor integration, EMI testing, and a track record with UAS or power electronics.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or higher in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
• Experience with sensor design, build, test, and integration.
• Design experience in UAS, power electronics, converter design, or powertrain.
• Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
• Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI interfaces.
• Altium preferred; Eagle and others acceptable.
• Experience in EMI testing.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validation of proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles.
• Vehicle-level integrations and complete lifecycle design from concept through production.
• Full cycle PCB design including requirements, schematic design, component selection, layout, bring-up, test and debug.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses.
• Provide support and collaborate within other air vehicle subsystem development constraints.
• Vendor surveys and evaluation to support sourcing for system components.
• Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
• Build up and test of engine system components through lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
