Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior electrical engineer to design, test, and validate proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles. You will lead vehicle-level integration, PCB design, and system interconnects from concept to production, collaborating across subsystems and vendors.

A strong background in circuit design, sensor development, and EMI testing is required, with U.S. security clearance eligibility essential.

Qualifications

BS/MS or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
Strong circuit design background with mixed-signals experience.
Sensor design, build, test, and integration experience.
Design experience in UAS, power electronics, converter design, or powertrain.
Familiar with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current probes).
Familiar with CAN, I2C, SPI interfaces.
Proficient with CAD tools (Altium preferred).
Experience with EMI testing.
Eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and validation of proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles.
Vehicle-level integrations and lifecycle design from concept through production.
Full cycle PCB design from requirements to layout, bring-up, test, and system integration.
Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses.
Provide support and collaboration across subsystems.
Vendor surveys and evaluation for sourcing components.
Conduct design reviews cross-discipline.
Build and test engine system components for lab, ground, and flight tests.
Root cause analysis in field operations.
