Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior electrical engineer to design, test, and integrate proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles. You will lead full PCB lifecycles, from schematic to production, and collaborate across air-vehicle subsystems with an emphasis on reliability and EMI testing.

Required are 10+ years of PCB experience, sensor design background, and familiarity with CAN/I2C/SPI interfaces. U.S. Secret clearance is expected; Altium or similar CAD tools are acceptable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex PCB systems.
• Strong circuit design and mixed-signal expertise.
• Experience with sensor design, build, test, and integration.
• UAS/power electronics/converter design experience.
• Familiar with CAN, I2C, SPI interfaces.
• Proficient with Altium (or comparable CAD tools) and EMI testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validation of proximity sensors for autonomous vehicles.
• Vehicle-level integrations and lifecycle design from concept through production.
• Full cycle PCB design including requirements, schematic, layout, bring-up, test, and debug.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harness definitions.
• Provide support and collaborate within other air vehicle subsystem development constraints.
• Vendor surveys and evaluation to support sourcing.
• Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
• Build up and test engine system components through lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
