Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Sensor Engineer for its Air Defense team. You will own end‑to‑end sensor integrations across RF/radar, EO/IR, and acoustic modalities, guiding design, integration, test, and field deployment.

You will drive sensor selection, verification, and performance characterization, collaborating with autonomy and Lattice teams, and represent Anduril with customers and partners on airborne sensing topics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in sensor engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain US work authorization and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own sensor hardware integrations end to end, from requirements through architecture, block diagram, and simulation.
• Evaluate performance of RF/radar, EO/IR, acoustic sensors and other modalities and select sensors.
• Integrate sensor hardware with the kill chain alongside other teams for deployment.
• Represent Anduril externally as a technical authority on airborne sensing.
