Job summary

Standard Bots in Boston is hiring two Senior Electrical Engineers to take designs from concept through production for Bolt, our autonomous mobile platform. You’ll own PCBAs and electrical subsystems, focusing either on safety architectures or on system integration across arms, base, and control box.

You’ll work hands-on in the lab, run bring-up, write test plans, lead design reviews, and mentor junior engineers, with a path to contribute to ISO safety certification and to work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of PCBAs and electrical systems work.
• Experience taking designs through production release and into volume manufacturing.
• Strong in digital/analog electronics and system grounding/EMC.

Responsibilities

• Own design and validation of PCBAs and electrical subsystems from concept to production release.
• Design safety architecture with Functional Safety features and ISO 13849 considerations.
• Lead system electrical architecture including harness design and bus topology.
• Hands-on schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, test plans, and debugging.
• Lead design reviews and mentor associate/mid-level engineers.
• Be the go-to technical contact for PCB and harness vendors.
