Job summary

Sargent & Lundy Consulting (SLC) is a remote/virtual role based anywhere in the United States. You will provide development support, conceptual design, and owner’s engineer services to clients on electric power projects.

Responsibilities include evaluating projects, supporting economic analyses and contracts, conducting design reviews, and aiding in development. Occasional travel within the US and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in electrical engineering required.
• 12+ years of experience in electric power industry or related field.
• Experience in development support and conceptual design of thermal power projects.
• Excellent technical communication and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities.
• Support project economic/cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development.
• Conduct engineering design reviews, due diligence, and project development support.
• Provide conceptual design, particularly in electrical design of thermal power projects.
• Travel within the US and internationally as required.
