Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering or MBA is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing technical plans, drawings, calculations, and models.
• 2+ years of experience in detailed design of site grading and drainage, storm sewer systems, road design, transport plans, track design, and ponds.
• Power plant project design experience.
• Experience in writing and providing support documentation for Civil Engineering specifications or calculations.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple parallel, fast-paced tasks within schedule and assigned budget.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical evaluation report writing.
• Proficiency with civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, StormCad, PondPack, MicroStation or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil engineering reviews including storm water drainage, sanitary sewer systems, road design, and earthwork.
• Support preparation and review of site layout, grading, and preliminary drainage designs.
• Prepare and review technical specifications to define construction requirements.
• Work with senior consultants to advise power project developers.
• Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing.
• Develop technical reports for owners, developers, governmental agencies, committees, and financiers.
