Sargent & Lundy Consulting (SLC) supports electric power projects by evaluating technical, commercial, environmental, and financial aspects for clients across the United States. The role focuses on development support, conceptual design, and owner’s engineering services for thermal power projects.

Ideal candidates have a BSME from an ABET‑accredited program and 5+ years of electric power experience, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Requires a BSME from an ABET‑accredited program with strong academics.
5+ years in the electric power industry, including detailed design of mechanical systems for thermal power projects.
Experience in development support and conceptual design of thermal power projects.
Excellent technical communication and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

Provide development support, conceptual design and owner’s engineer services for power projects.
Perform technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities.
Support project economics, cost analyses, risk assessments, and contract development.
Conduct engineering design reviews and due diligence; travel within US and internationally.
