Job summary

Stanley Consultants seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design of power generation facilities, microgrids, and medium/low voltage distribution. You will model electrical systems, size and specify equipment, and coordinate with vendors to ensure code-compliant, reliable designs.

The role requires a PE license, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, and 10+ years of experience. Proficiency with ETAP/SKM and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE Registration is required or pending licensure.
• 10+ years of relevant electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and distribution systems.
• Create schematics and wiring diagrams; prepare equipment specifications.
• Prepare reports; determine code requirements; perform design computations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas.
• Manage a design budget and schedule.
• Develop engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform engineering calculations and vendor coordination.
• Conduct project field site visits.
