Job summary

RCM Energy Services in Montvale, NJ is seeking Electrical Engineers at levels I through Principal to deliver design, analysis, and project execution for energy and critical infrastructure projects. You will work with clients and multi-disciplinary teams on a diverse portfolio, from concept through commissioning, with exposure to substations, BESS, LNG, and renewable facilities.

Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in a design/engineering role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to perform field walks and travel for project activities.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical engineering design from concept through detailed design and commissioning.
Prepare calculations, studies, specifications, and construction documents.
Develop one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts.
Conduct power system studies: load flow, short circuit, grounding, arc flash, protection coordination.
Conduct site investigations and coordinate with clients, vendors, and teams.
Support proposal preparation, technical presentations, and business development.
