Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead electrical design across capital projects and facility upgrades. You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure rigorous safety and design standards, and drive project execution with a strong emphasis on electrical reliability.

The role requires mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with project managers, and shaping design standards for HV/MV/LV systems while supporting commissioning and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in electrical systems.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV distribution and power generation in industrial settings.
• Proficiency with One/Three Line Diagrams, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for capital projects and facility upgrades.
• Provide design support for outages and equipment troubleshooting.
• Lead business development/expansion projects at operating facilities.
• Act as SME for Reworld Electrical Team and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure design standards and specifications are updated and followed.
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors on design tasks.
