Job summary

Reworld seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for capital projects and facility upgrades in the USA. You will guide cross-functional teams, develop drawings and calculations, and ensure safety and reliability across HV, MV, and LV distributions.

You will mentor engineers, champion design standards, and support commissioning and startup activities while coordinating with project managers and suppliers. A PE license and 10+ years in power systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop/Review/Approve Electrical System Design documents including One Line/Three Line Diagrams, Control Schematics, Wiring diagrams, Arc Flash, Short Circuit & Voltage Drop Calculations, Coordination Studies.
• Develop scope of work for Electrical AE firms and coordinate with suppliers/contractors.
• Plan design tasks to meet budget and schedule; may serve as technical lead for capital programs.
• Provide SME design support for commissioning/startup and for project Managers on construction projects.
• Update and maintain Key Electrical Design Standards/Specifications as SME for the team.
