Metropolitan Transportation Authority seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to provide advanced engineering support for operating and capital rolling stock projects within Fleet Engineering. The role involves design review, materials/specifications management, and coordination with staff engineers, vendors, and consultants to meet scope, quality, budget, and schedule.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; in lieu of degree, 4 years’ experience accepted.
• 8+ years’ engineering experience in maintenance or production settings with project management.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills (oral and written).
• Familiarity with FRA/APTA/AAR standards and configuration management.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct engineering analysis, design review and documentation for rolling stock systems.
• Provide engineering direction to craft, supervisory and professional staff; supervise testing and validation activities.
• Develop TSOWs and material specifications to support procurement bids.
• Lead design reviews and First Article Inspections for new rail cars/equipment.
• Ensure compliance with FRA/APTA/AAR standards and maintenance practices.
