Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) seeks a Senior Director for Rolling Stock Strategy & Analysis at its New York headquarters. You will forecast fleet needs, model total cost of ownership, and lead initiatives across the program to optimize asset value.

Telework is available one day per week in support of operations. Reporting to the Chief of Rolling Stock, you will partner with executives to shape technical specs, manage budgets, and drive data-driven decisions that balance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in commercial strategy, supply chain, or transit sectors.
• Master’s degree (MBA/MS) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead Rolling Stock Strategy and Analysis team; drive scoping and validation with cross-functional partners.
• Set strategic priorities; govern projects with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee adjustments to rolling stock specifications to optimize TCO and supplier engagement.
• Develop talent within the department and coach staff for performance.
• Provide executive-level reporting and monitor initiative performance.
