Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer in St. Louis, MO to lead design efforts for low-to-moderate complexity projects and mentor on larger efforts. The role focuses on healthcare and MEP designs with energy-efficient solutions aligned to industry standards.

You will collaborate with teams, manage budgets, and support project delivery while advancing high-performance design. Hybrid full-time schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5 years minimum experience; 6 preferred in building design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of electrical systems for projects.
• Engage clients to gather requirements and communicate technical info.
• Support project execution including budgeting and scheduling.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Conduct in-process design reviews and apply quality control.
• Stay current on electrical trends and best practices.
• Prioritize safety and mitigate risks in electrical systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and PMs for integrated solutions.
• Identify issues and oversee bidding and construction administration.
