Job summary

C&I Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Louisville, KY. You will design electrical equipment for oil & gas, petrochemical, and related facilities, and lead analysis and modeling efforts across projects.

Responsibilities include power distribution design, voltage drop and load calculations, and motor sizing using ETAP, SKM, or similar software. Travel up to 10% may be required and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 8+ years of experience
• ABET-accredited engineering technology degree with 10+ years of experience
• Experience in chemical, refining, or food & beverage industries

Responsibilities

• Designs electrical equipment for oil & gas, petrochemical, and related facilities
• Designs industrial power distribution systems with specs, protection, load analysis, fault and coordination studies
• Performs electrical engineering calculations: load studies, voltage drop, wire sizing, motor sizing
• Uses ETAP, SKM or similar modeling software
• Acts as lead on multi-discipline project teams with staff direction
