Job summary

C&I Engineering seeks a Senior Electrical Power Engineer to join our Louisville office. You will lead design packages, estimate effort hours, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with multi-discipline teams on complex projects.

The role requires planning large projects, performing analyses, and developing P&IDs and instrumentation specifications, with travel up to 10%. We value safety and a collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program with 10+ years of related work experience, or engineering technology program with 12 years.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 10%.
• Must comply with drug-free workplace requirements.
• Must obtain TWIC and pass background checks.
• Valid Driver's License
• Performs work in a safe manner per company and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complete design packages and construction scope of work for complex projects.
• Creates deliverables lists and estimates effort hours for limited scopes.
• Mentors junior staff and supports training and development.
• Plans execution for large projects and coordinates engineering procurement activities.
• Integrates department plans into multi-discipline project execution.
• Prepares computer analyses and calculations.
• Checks dimensions and interfaces using vendor documents and models.
• Specifies process instrumentation such as level, pressure, and flow.
• Helps develop P&IDs and electrical/instrumentation design documents.
