Qualifications

• Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be obtained.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use professional concepts appropriate to engineering, including analytical methods, computer aided analysis and design tools, diagnostic instruments and test equipment.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient and cost-effective circuits and power supplies per customer and regulatory specifications, including schematic capture, board layout, prototype testing, and bench testing.
• Interface with internal departments to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are met.
• Develop analytical models, simulation tools, and other predictive methods to reduce changes on subsequent iterations of each design.
• Participate as an active part of the core team to meet schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of prototype power supply units.
• Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
