Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Generation to lead complex electrical design and project execution for industrial facilities, oil & gas, renewables, data centers, and power systems. Hybrid work arrangement with remote options is available.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with clients, and guide projects from concept through commissioning, applying SKM/ETAP tools, NEC/NFPA/IEEE standards, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience leading complex electrical design projects in industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderate to large-scale electrical engineering projects from concept through delivery.
• Serve as a technical lead and make sound decisions on complex issues.
• Develop and oversee power system designs, controls drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Design electrical service interconnects with local utilities.
• Prepare specifications for procurement, installation and testing of equipment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
