Thomas Young Group in Seattle is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to own projects from concept through completion. You will collaborate with multiple disciplines, perform analyses with specialized software, and visit sites to ensure construction aligns with design.

Ideal candidates have ABET‑accredited engineering degrees, 6+ years of experience, and PE licensure is preferred. The role offers rapid growth in a 100% employee-owned firm with strong collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with healthcare projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborating with other disciplines to define design requirements and project scope.
• Performing engineering analyses with specialized software.
• Visiting job sites to monitor construction and verify compliance.
• Identifying and resolving design issues and clashes.
• Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules.
• Reviewing technical documents, drawings, and submittals for accuracy.
• Supporting QA/QC efforts and contributing to client presentations and proposals.
• Mentoring junior staff and offering technical guidance.
