Job summary

EDG is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the development and implementation of electrical design across projects. The role requires familiarity with power generation, distribution, protection and control systems in line with client specs and industry codes. The Sr.

Electrical Engineer will coordinate with other disciplines for an integrated design that meets project requirements. The candidate will lead design teams, prepare philosophies, drawings, equipment specs and electrical models

Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical or Electronics engineering (preferred).
5+ years of experience designing and implementing electrical power generation and distribution systems for offshore/onshore hydrocarbon facilities.
P.E. license preferred.
Experience working in multi-discipline project teams.
Knowledge of ANSI/NEMA/NFPA/API/UL/IEEE codes and IEC standards.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design teams for power generation, distribution, protection and control systems.
Prepare and review power/control philosophies and drawings.
Prepare and review equipment specifications and datasheets (generators, MCCs, VFDs, switchgear).
Develop electrical models using ETAP, EDSA or SKM.
Prepare system calculations and construction drawings.
Support procurement and field engineering during construction, testing and commissioning.
Travel to client sites and offshore as required.
