Job summary

Acteon Group's Geo-services arm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Houston to lead the design, integration, and lifecycle support of electrical, control, and power systems for offshore and subsea operations. You will guide projects from concept through field deployment, coordinating with mechanical, controls, software, and operations teams.

The role requires extensive offshore/marine electrical experience, strong schematics and power distribution knowledge, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of offshore, subsea, marine, or industrial automation experience.
• Experience designing and integrating subsea equipment and vessel interfaces.
• Experience developing electrical integration, commissioning, FAT, and SAT procedures.
• Strong schematics/wiring diagram and construction documentation skills.
• Familiarity with NEC, IEC, NFPA, and marine electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities for PROD systems and field support projects.
• Develop and review electrical deliverables: single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, load studies, power system analyses.
• Support optical, electrical, and mechanical interface design of subsea systems.
• Develop vessel electrical interface requirements and mobilization packages.
• Design and integrate LV/HV power distribution for subsea operations.
• Create commissioning, FAT, SAT procedures and system readiness plans.
• Provide offshore support, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.
• Review vendor docs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain engineering documentation.
