Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer in New York, NY, with a 100% ESOP-owned culture and a hybrid work arrangement. This role focuses on leading electrical design and project management within a multi-discipline environment in Manhattan.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with a PE license and 7–8 years of experience in building design consulting, and is prepared to mentor others while delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• PE license is required for professional practice.
• 7–8 years of experience in building design consulting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical-system analysis and develop designs, specifications, and calculations.
• Prepare detailed analyses and technical reports; communicate with clients.
• Mentor staff and lead project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate scopes, schedules, and budgets with project executives and clients.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Travel up to 20% and participate in client interviews and presentations.
