Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design efforts across DoD and national security programs. This on-site role requires developing schematics, wiring diagrams, and harnesses, with KiCAD/OrCAD proficiency and a DoD Secret clearance.

You will work in a fast-paced team in a National Security Solutions environment, Travel 5-10% and occasional overtime, with a focus on robust, cost-effective electrical solutions for product development and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design on complex systems.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools (OrCAD); familiarity with KiCAD.
• Experience with test equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts from concept through final production.
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness documentation.
• Research and evaluate electrical systems to meet performance requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures.
• Design and develop cable assemblies and wiring harnesses.
• Support program schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation.
• Participate in design reviews and support integration activities.
• Collaborate with a small team on fast-paced, short timeline projects.
