Kansas City National Security Campus seeks an Electrical Engineer II to perform routine to moderately complex engineering tasks on assigned projects, applying standard mathematical and engineering techniques.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Physics, 2+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel up to 15%. You may work on-site, remote, or hybrid as directed and must be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or physics from ABET-accredited program.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering or analytical experience.
• Ability to travel up to 15% and work on-site/remote/hybrid as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and project management of new/current projects under guidance.
• Prepare definitions, drawings, specs, procedures, and test equipment designs.
• Design products and acceptance equipment; designate tooling and cables for acceptance.
• Develop tests, perform evaluations, and support process capability studies.
• Conduct audits and analyze processes to identify and correct issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve engineering challenges.
• Prepare evaluation reports and recommend improvements.
