The Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to support advanced manufacturing processes and lead project efforts across engineering, quality, and production teams.

The role emphasizes design, testing, reporting, and procedures to ensure product quality and reliability, with travel up to 15% and flexibility to work on-site, hybrid, or remote as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Physics from an ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DOE security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Willingness to work on-site, remote or hybrid as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for highly technical manufacturing processes.
• Manage projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor electrical testing and troubleshoot failures.
• Write technical reports and develop production-ready instructions.
• Lead design changes and experiments to assure product quality.
