As part of this team, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects nationwide, growing your career alongside a diverse team of industry professionals.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

ME Engineer Family - Core

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of the company's safety and quality plans and culture, demonstrating a commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
• Completes entry-level and routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information using automated M/E estimating systems.
• Assists in reviewing mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and completes systems analysis for projects.
• Learns to develop mechanical and electrical scopes of work for the bid process.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Assists in developing sequencing requirements and provides solutions to meet schedule demands.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify quality issues and develop constructability review reports.
• Learns to perform job inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met.
• Supports shop drawing/submittal processes to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Assists with commissioning activities, including developing checklists and testing procedures.
• Promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion, understanding JE Dunn's non-discrimination policy.

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs more complex mechanical, electrical, and field activities.
• Develops and reviews estimates, recommends systems, and suggests value engineering.
• Coordinates scopes of work during bidding and develops sequencing and scheduling inputs.
• Reviews design documents for quality issues and develops quality control programs.
• Develops and verifies functional testing procedures and commissioning documentation.
• Provides mentoring and creates tools for process improvement.
• Supports diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to perform work accurately and timely.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction management methods.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate within teams.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or related field (Required).
• Relevant experience of 5+ years preferred.
