JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) combines Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing into one high-performing team focused on cutting-edge work for innovative clients on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. As part of the team, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects nationwide, growing your career with our diverse team of industry professionals.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of the company's safety and quality plans and culture, demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Completes entry-level mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates using automated systems based on program and schematic design information.
• Assists in reviewing mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and completes systems analysis for projects.
• Learns to develop scopes of work for bids and assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Assists in developing sequencing requirements and provides solutions to meet schedule needs.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify potential quality issues and develop constructability review reports.
• Learns to perform job inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met.
• Assists with shop drawings/submittal processes to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Supports the commissioning process, including developing checklists and testing procedures.
• Promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion, understanding JE Dunn's non-discrimination policies.

Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

• Performs increasingly complex mechanical, electrical, and field activities.
• Develops and reviews estimates, recommends systems, and provides value engineering suggestions.
• Coordinates scopes during bid and develops sequencing and scheduling inputs.
• Reviews design documents, develops quality control programs, and performs job inspections.
• Develops and verifies functional testing procedures and documentation.
• Creates M/E tools and solutions for process improvement.
• Continues to promote diversity and inclusion policies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Accurate and timely work performance.

• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to read plans and specifications.
• Develops proficiency in JE Dunn's M/E tools and software.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering, or related field (Required).
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

• 5+ years of construction and/or engineering experience (Preferred).

Working Environment

• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
