Qualifications

JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) combines Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing into one high-performing team focused on cutting-edge work to serve innovative clients on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. As part of the Advanced Facilities team, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects nationwide, growing your career alongside our diverse team of industry professionals.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of the company's safety and quality plans, demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Completes entry-level and routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design info using automated systems.
• Assists in reviewing mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and completes systems analysis for select projects.
• Learns to develop scopes of work for mechanical and electrical components for the bid process.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Supports the development of sequencing requirements and solutions to meet schedule needs.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify quality issues and develop constructability review reports.
• Performs job inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met.
• Assists with shop drawing/submittal processes to ensure compliance.
• Supports commissioning including developing checklists and testing procedures.
• Promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion, understanding JE Dunn's non-discrimination policies.

Additional Core Responsibilities

• Handles more complex mechanical, electrical, and field activities.
• Develops and reviews estimates, recommends systems, and suggests value engineering.
• Coordinates scopes during bidding and develops sequencing and scheduling inputs.
• Reviews design documents for quality issues and helps develop control programs.
• Prepares and verifies functional testing and commissioning documentation.
• Mentors less experienced team members and creates innovative tools for process improvement.
• Continues to promote diversity and inclusion policies.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or related field required; relevant experience may be considered as substitution.
• Minimum 5 years of construction and/or engineering experience preferred.

Working Environment
