Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced engineer to drive end-to-end PCB design for weapon system components. You will collect requirements, design schematics, select components, supervise layout, bring up, test, and integrate boards within defense systems.

You will develop missile fuzing circuitry and work closely with vehicle teams to document and produce tailored fuzing systems and interconnects. Experience with firmware bring-up and field-tested diagnostics is essential.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years in board design.
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting complex boards.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle PCB design including requirements capture, schematic design, component selection, layout supervision, bring-up, test, and integration.
• Develop fuzing circuitry for missile systems.
• Collaborate with vehicle development teams to design, document, and produce tailored fuzing systems and effectors.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses to connect electronic equipment within the vehicle.
• Provide support and collaborate with other air vehicle subsystem constraints.
• Vendor surveys and evaluation to support sourcing for system components.
• Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
• Build up and test system components through lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Low level firmware development for bring-up and test.
• Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
