Job summary

Anduril Industries, based in the United States, is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead full-cycle PCB design and fuzing circuitry development for missile systems. You will collaborate with vehicle teams to finalize interconnects and wire harnesses, perform lab and flight tests, and conduct root-cause analyses for field operations. A U.S.

Secret clearance is required or eligible. Requires a BS+ in Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience with Altium or Eagle, signal and power

Qualifications

• BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
• Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc.
• Familiarity with MCU, CPU, FPGA devices and technologies.
• Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and circuits.
• Experience with CAD tools (Altium preferred, Eagle and others acceptable).
• Experience in design for signal integrity / power integrity.
• Test experience including data acquisition, data analysis, and project coordination.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Ability to travel for testing (surges up to 25%).
• Passion for defending the United States and allies.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle PCB design including requirements collection, schematic design, component selection, layout, bring-up, test, and integration.
• Development of fuzing circuitry for missile systems.
• Collaborate with vehicle development teams to design and produce fuzing systems and effectors.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses.
• Provide support within other air vehicle subsystem development constraints.
• Vendor surveys and evaluation for sourcing components.
• Conduct design reviews and test components through lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Low level firmware development for bring-up and test.
• Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
