Job summary

The Staff Electrical Engineer (Weapons Systems) will lead full-cycle PCB design, develop fuzing circuitry for missile systems, and collaborate with vehicle teams to create robust fuzing solutions and interconnects.

The role includes lab and flight tests, firmware bring-up, and root cause analysis to support field operations.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 12+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
• Familiarity with test equipment and lab automation.
• Experience with Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB interfaces.
• Knowledge of MCU/CPU/FPGA devices and technologies.
• Design for signal integrity and power integrity.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle PCB design from requirements to bring-up and test.
• Development of fuzing circuitry for missile systems.
• Collaborate with vehicle teams to design fuzing systems and effectors.
• Create system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses.
• Support other air vehicle subsystems development constraints.
• Vendor surveys for sourcing components.
• Conduct peer reviews and design reviews.
• Build and test components in lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Low level firmware bring-up and test.
• Root cause analysis for field operations.
