Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a senior electrical design engineer to lead the full PCB design lifecycle for advanced defense systems. You will design, test, and bring up complex boards, develop fuzing circuitry, and collaborate with vehicle teams to integrate subsystems.

Responsibilities include interconnect diagrams, wire harness definitions, vendor evaluations, and performing root-cause analysis during lab, ground, and flight tests. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of board design experience.
• Proficient with test equipment: scopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current probes.
• Familiar with Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB interfaces.
• Experience with MCU/CPU/FPGA devices and digital/analog electronics.
• Skilled in electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred; Eagle acceptable).
• Experience in signal integrity and power integrity design.
• Testing data acquisition and data analysis experience.
• Eligible for an active U.S. Secret clearance; ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle PCB design from requirements to bring-up and integration.
• Develop fuzing circuitry for missile systems.
• Collaborate with vehicle teams to design fuzing systems and effectors.
• Define interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses for system connectivity.
• Support other air vehicle subsystem development constraints.
• Vendor surveys and evaluation to support sourcing for components.
• Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
• Build up and test system components through lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Low level firmware development for bring-up and test.
• Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
